We use RBI's Account Aggregator framework to access your financial data. As this technology is in its initial phase, you may come across the following issues -
Issues in Connecting Bank Accounts
You may face OTP issues, and account discovery issues when trying to connect your bank account. Also note that Account Aggregators do not support joint and current accounts, as of now.
Data may not be complete or accurate
We fetch the financial information from your bank, it is possible that your bank is providing us with inaccurate/incomplete information for eg. timestamps may be incorrect.
Duplicate Transactions
In some cases, you may see duplicate transactions. Please do write to us if you face this issue.
Bank Specific Issues
Some banks have specific issues listed below -
Canara Bank
Bank doesn’t send transactions’ time.
Federal Bank
Timestamps for transactions done around 12AM/PM may be incorrect.
HDFC Bank
Bank sends transactions with a ~12-hour delay.
ICICI Bank
When both a current account and a savings account are held under the same phone number, only the current account is discovered.
Bank doesn’t share transactions data on weekends.
IndusInd Bank
Bank doesn’t send transactions’ time.
Discovery issues when trying to link two accounts associated with the same phone number.
State Bank of India
Discovery issues while linking accounts.
Kotak Mahindra Bank
Account discovery works better after 12 AM.
Punjab National Bank
Refreshes may fail if the data on Fold is already up to date.
Note: Most banks are undergoing infra upgrade so you will see a 5.30 hrs offset for all the transactions. This is likely be fixed in few weeks.
