Credit card tracking is still in its early phase and will see significant improvements in the upcoming months. As of August 2024, here are the existing issues -
- Works best with iOS 17 or Android 10 and up. You might face some onboarding issues if you are using iOS 18 beta version.
- EMI transactions are not yet supported.
- Refund/Reversal transactions are not yet supported for ICICI/SBI/Axis credit cards.
- Multi-cards/Add-on Cards (two cards sharing the same credit limit & a single monthly statement) are not supported; therefore, they cannot be onboarded. We currently only support one (the primary) card, which means we will sync transactions for the primary card only and update the spent amount accordingly.
- UPI transactions are supported only for HDFC and Axis Bank cards at present. If your card is a RuPay card, it should work as expected for non-UPI transactions, provided it’s not an add-on card.
- Currently, only Gmail is supported for real-time transaction tracking. We plan to add support for more email providers in the future. If you use Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., you can set up auto-forwarding using this guide.
- You can onboard a new credit card if you have received a recent statement via email in the last 90 days. We will be removing this limitation soon.
- If you have a new credit card and haven't received the statement yet, you will need to wait until you receive one to add the card.
-
iOS widgets are empty. This is an OS-level issue and not something we can fix from our end. Try the following steps to fix the issue:
- Check that you are using the latest Fold version.
- Quit the Fold app via the app switcher, and then relaunch the app.
- As a last resort, remove the widgets, and restart the device. Now add the widgets back.
We will be fixing all the above issues in the coming months. You can check the upcoming credit card tracking features here.
