Once you have added a recurring expense, Fold will begin providing you with suggestions for similar recurring transactions. This helps you identify potential recurring expenses based on your spending habits.
The sparkle icon ✨ in the top right in the Recurring tab opens Recurring suggestions, helping you identify potential transactions.
- Tap the sparkle icon to view suggested recurring expenses.
- To set a transaction as recurring, tap +Add; tap on Ignore for irrelevant suggestions to refine future recommendations.
- After selecting a transaction, name it and specify its frequency.
- Add details to help Fold auto-detect future transactions.
- You can choose to receive reminders for payments or cancellations.
- Pick an icon and click Done!
Once done, your new recurring expense will be created. You'll see it in your calendar view, showing your paid, upcoming, and overdue payments at a glance. Please note that there might be a few false positives in the recurring suggestions, we are improving it.
