Fold MCP connects your Fold data to AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex, so they can answer questions with your personal finance context. It is available with Fold Plus (annual) and Believer subscriptions.
To set it up:
- In Fold, go to Profile > Settings > Beta Playground and enable MCP access.
- In your AI app, add a custom connector named Fold with the remote URL https://mcp.fold.money/mcp
- Authenticate with your Fold phone number (including country code) and verify the OTP.
Once connected, your AI assistant can use 22 read-only tools across savings, stocks, mutual funds, net worth, banking, spending and credit. Your data is shared only with AI apps you authorise, and you can revoke access anytime. Fold MCP is an experimental beta feature.
