If a new loan or credit card is not showing up on your report, it is due to a reporting lag, not because the bank chose to skip a bureau. By RBI mandate, all banks and NBFCs must report your data to all four credit bureaus in India.
However, there can still be a delay:
The 30-Day Setup Window: Even under the RBI's new weekly reporting rules (effective July 2026), it can take a lender up to 30 days to establish the new account in their system and push the first data batch to the bureaus.
Refresh Timing: If the bank reported your new loan to Equifax on the 23rd, but your Fold app refreshed on the 15th, you will not see the new loan until your next monthly refresh on Fold.
