If your credit card is not getting detected or onboarded on Fold, it could be due to one of the following reasons -
- If you are trying to add add-on / supplementary / shared cards (e.g., ICICI add-on cards), these are not supported right now. We will be adding support soon.
- It's possible that your credit card is not yet supported. Here's a list of supported credit cards on Fold, make sure your credit card is on the list. Slice, PNB, Federal and few cobranded cards are not yet supported.
- You can only onboard a card if you’ve received at least one statement email (with PDF) in the last 6 months (180 days). Search your Gmail for a recent statement to confirm.
- Some card providers send only transaction emails and never send monthly statements. You can enable statements from their app or netbanking settings. Once you start receiving statements, you’ll be able to onboard your card on Fold.
- If you've recently set up auto-forwarding, you will need to wait for the monthly statement to be auto-forwarded to the secondary Gmail account you linked. Manual forwarding will not work as Gmail removes the original sender info.
- If you didn't grant Fold "Read emails" access during Google login, we cannot detect your credit cards. To fix this, go to Profile > Credit Cards > Update Syncing Email, grant read access, and try again.
- Verify if you have linked the correct Gmail account. This should be the account where you receive your statements.
- Rarely, there may be a temporary server issue. Please try again after some time.
