Forwarding from Outlook to Gmail:
- Open Outlook.
- At the top of the page, select Settings.
- Select Mail > Rules.
- Select Add new rule.
- Enter a name for your rule.
- Select From as the bank's email (e.g., ICICI bank sends emails from credit_cards@icicibank.com). Some banks use different emails for statements and for transaction alerts, you’ll need to create rules for each sender.
- Select To as your gmail address, make sure you have a secondary Gmail account - this is the account where we want all our emails to pool in, something that you can give access to Fold.
- Add an action: choose Redirect to (do not select Forward to), and then enter your Gmail address again, this is where your messages will be redirected.
- Add a condition: choose Apply to all messages.
- When you're done, select Save.
Once completed, you're all set!
Note: Please note that after following the above steps, you will need to wait for the monthly statement to be auto-forwarded to the secondary Gmail account you linked. Manual forwarding will not work.
